The royal couple is reportedly working on a project titled the “Earthshot Prize,” according to Mail Online.
An application for a trademark of the name “Earthshot Prize” from The Royal Foundation was listed in the Intellectual Property Office’s records.
It states the trademark name could be used for photographs, clothing, footwear and headgear, as well as education and training services, publishing, cultural activities, competitions and awards and all relating to nature conservation and the environment, according to Hello.
Kate is known to be a talented photographer and famously took the first photos of her daughter, Princess Charlotte when she was born in 2015.
Since then, her family portraits and tour photos continue to be published. In July, the Kensington Royal Instagram page shared a photo of Prince George.
Recently, the 37-year-old was spotted with a camera on her tour of Pakistan with her husband. Kate’s stunning photos of a family from the Hindu Kush mountains were published in newspapers, according to Hello.
The mother-of-three was given a lifetime honorary membership of the Royal Photographic Society in 2017.
Kate became their patron in June this year – a title held by the Queen for 67 years before the monarch passed on the baton.
William and Kate’s photography project will be one of their first ventures since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle parted ways with the Royal Foundation.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are believed to be launching the competition to encourage people to become more involved in photography.
