After months of speculation about Meghan Markle’s alleged ongoing feud with sister-in-law Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Sussex is finally ready to set the record straight.
According to a new US report, the former actress wants to reveal what’s really happening behind palace doors.
“Meghan doesn’t want to address the rumours in public but feels it’s very important that people know the real story,” an insider reveals to OK! USA.
‘Yes, Meghan hit some bumps as she transitioned into her new role, but things are far more pleasant than most know – especially with Kate,” the source adds.
“And with her April due date quickly approaching, Meghan feels it’s time to get her side of the story out there.”
For the past few months there have been whispers of a series of fall-outs between the two glamorous duchesses.
“The story was that Meghan reduced Kate to tears at a bridesmaids fitting for Princess Charlotte shortly before her wedding to Harry – and that Kate reprimanded Meghan for scolding a staff member.
“It was said that things got so bad, it started to affect Harry and his relationship with his brother, Prince William and that it turned into a huge feud.”
However, despite the rumours of a rift, Meghan has told friends it’s not really as bad as everyone thinks, even with Kate/ The women actually have a lot in common and have grown especially close over the last few months.
“When Harry first introduced Meghan to the royal family, he was quite nervous,” says the source.
“He feared they’d say he was moving too fast. But they were all impressed by how she carried herself with such confidence and strength. Kate knew immediately that Meghan was just who her brother-in-law needed by his side.”
