Meghan Markle has taken the ultimate inspiration from Princess Diana as she stepped out in Edinburgh today.

The glowing bride-to-be wore a Burberry tartan coat while greeting royal fans. Not only did the 36-year-old actress give a nod to Scotland’s traditional tartan fabric, but she also took inspiration from the outfit Diana wore when she visited Scotland in 1987.

Diana, who was 26 at the time, wore a tartan wool dress which featured a lace collar and sleeves.
