They’re widely thought to be at war over divergent personalities and brotherly royal rifts.

But Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle seem to have put their feud to bed once and for all – in an artist’s depiction of the wives of Windsor, at least.

In a new mural entitled ‘The Royal Kiss’ by Italian street artist TvBoy, the Duchess of Cambridge is seen sharing a passionate kiss with the Duchess of Sussex.

The 37-year-old Duchesses are drawn in their royal wedding dresses, with Kate pictured in her fairytale Alexander McQueen gown from her and Prince William‘s 2011 marriage at Westminster Abbey in London, while Meghan wears her iconic boat neck dress by Givenchy’s Clare Waight Keller from her and Prince Harry‘s nuptials at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle last year.

The painting was unveiled on a wall in Milan’s Piazza Oberdan on Saturday in honour of European Pride weekend.

It’s not the first time TvBoy has used heterosexual figureheads as inspiration for his works, previously painting Italy’s vice premieres Matteo Salvini and Luigi Di Maio in a similar pose, Il Giornale reports.

The work comes just days after Kensington Palace announced William and Kate’s official exit from the Royal Foundation, a joint charity initiative founded by the sons of Prince Charles and Princess Diana in 2009.

Formerly known as the ‘Fab Four’, the Cambridges and Sussexes will now pursue their own independent charitable interests, with Buckingham Palace insiders revealing the future King and Queen consort of England will likely focus on British mental health and suicide prevention organisations while the Duke of Sussex and former Hollywood actress Meghan are more interested in the Invictus Games and Harry’s personal AIDS mission in Africa.

The Queen is said to be devastated about the split between her grandsons, who once enjoyed a famously close relationship.

Since welcoming their first child, son Archie Harrison Mountbatten Windsor, Harry and American-born Meghan are increasingly interested in living life away from the spotlight of the royal family.

On Friday, Buckingham Palace confirmed the Sussexes and their baby boy will embark on their first royal tour in October, visiting countries across Southern Africa at the request of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

The royal couple took to social media to share their joy at the upcoming trip, writing: Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are excited to announce that they have been asked to carry out a tour to Southern Africa this autumn.

“The Foreign and Commonwealth office have requested a visit to South Africa, as well as the Duke carrying out [solo] visits to Malawi and Angola. His Royal Highness will also do a short working visit to Botswana en route to the other countries.

“The Duke and Duchess are really looking forward to meeting so many of you on the ground and continuing to raise awareness of the high impact work local communities are doing across the Commonwealth and beyond.

“This will be their first official tour as a family!”

It’s also an exciting time for Harry’s dad Charles who is preparing to celebrate the 50th anniversary of his investiture as the Prince of Wales – the longest-serving holder of the title in history, News.com.au reports.

Prince Charles received his title from his monarch mother Queen Elizabeth II when he was just nine-years-old, but waited to be formally invested as Prince of Wales at Caernarfon Castle until he reached 20.

The heir apparent will mark his golden jubilee with visit to Wales on July 1, where he will tour the region for five days with his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.
