WATCH: Meghan and Kate kiss and make up!
After failing to appear in public together for 74 days straight, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle have kicked into overdrive to put rumours of a royal rift to bed once and for all by reuniting for not one, but two high profile events in the past week.
Following their joint attendance at the 50th anniversary of Prince Charles‘ investiture as Prince of Wales on March 6, the wives of Windsor stepped out for a Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey with their respective spouses Prince William and Prince Harry.
The Duchesses of Cambridge and Sussex greeted each other warmly with a gentle hug and a kiss on both cheeks – a stark contrast to reports of an alleged feud between the royal sisters-in-law.
Meghan and Kate, both 37, chatted animatedly as the stood on either side of their husbands and showed no signs of animosity.
The friendly display comes after footage emerged of the two sharing a joke during Prince Charles’ celebration last week.
Rumours of tension between the Duchesses surfaced after Meghan reportedly left Kate in tears after a dress fitting for Princess Charlotte in the lead up to last year’s royal wedding.
Heavily pregnant Meghan opted for an all-white ensemble which included a chain-print Victoria Beckham dress and an ivory pillbox hat.
She paired the dress with green satin pumps, also by Victoria Beckham, and a coordinating green clutch bag.
Kate, who was among the senior royals attending the annual Commonwealth event, wore a matching red Catherine Walker coat and dress.
Famous for recycling her designer looks, Duchess Catherine styled the same outfit she wore for her 2014 arrival in New Zealand with a different hat.
