The daughter of Prince Michael of Kent will say “I Do” at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor, where Prince Harry wed Meghan Markle and Princess Eugenie said yes to Jack Brooksbank in 2018.

But two very notable guests are said to be missing out on Lady Gabriella’s upcoming nuptials: namely, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

George, 5, and Charlotte, 3, are not expected to attend the ceremony with speculation mounting that their parents the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will not make an appearance either.

Reports indicate many senior members of the British royal circle may skip the occasion, including newlyweds Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall as well as the Queen herself.

Lady Gabriella, who is 51st in line to the throne, is said to have opted for an intimate gathering inviting only close friends and family to keep the celebration “relatively low profile”.

Gabriella appears to be following the lead of her older brother Frederick, who married his actress girlfriend Sophie Winkelman in a low key private event in 2009.

Buckingham Palace announced Lady Gabriella’s engagement in September, with a royal spokesperson confirming the ceremony will take place at St. George’s late last year.

The wedding will not be televised and the couple will not extend an invitation to the public.

Similarly, a formal reception inside Windsor Castle is unlikely to take place.
