The Bachelorette‘s Carlin Sterritt has been outed as an actor.

Angie Kent’s worst fears came true on Thursday night when it was revealed that her suitor was only on she show for fame and to boost his acting career.
Carlin’s own brother, Jarvie, broke the news to a devastated Angie, telling her the fitness trainer had seen the show as a career opportunity.
Angie was devastated after she had previously been warned about Carlin’s secret by ousted contestant, ‘stage-five-clinger’ Jamie Doran.
While speaking to Jarvie, Angie mentioned what Jamie had said about Carlin, and unfortunately, he confirmed that the fireman’s suspicions were indeed true.
“I guess so… I think at the start, yeah,” he said.
While Jarvie tried to convince Angie that his brother’s connection with her was genuine, she was left visibly shaken by the conversation.
Angie then confronted Carlin later in the episode and said: “I don’t care if you’re an actor, that doesn’t mean you can’t love [somebody]. Just say that you are one.”
Carlin defended himself, saying he wasn’t “hustling” or “shooting for the stars” and was only on The Bachelorette to find love.
He then turned the tables and gave Angie an ultimatum, saying she either had to trust his intentions or send him home.
“If you can’t see me at the end of the day for who I am and what we’ve built, then that’s it,” he said.
“Do you know how many times I could have bailed on this thinking it’s too hard?”
Angie saw something in him, and still gave Carlin a rose at the end of the episode, and sent Jackson Garlick home instead.
Fans took to Twitter to express their surprise at Carlin’s ‘outing’ as an actor.
“Jamie was right!!!!!! JAMIE WAS RIGHT!!!!” one fan wrote.
While some viewers even said that his tearful speech to Angie about being there for the right reasons was “his audition for Neighbours“.
