Social media goes into meltdown as the Tripod leaves the Bachelor mansion

'And just like that all is right in the house...'

The Bachelor’s tripod or ‘mean girls’ Romy, Cat and Alisha have had Australia up in arms since episode one.

After all they have schemed, plotted and connived their way through the series, so much so viewers complained to the communications watchdog ACMA about their bullying ways after Tenille almost left the show in tears.

Yet in episode 8, the end to their nasty ways was in sight seeing all three of the girls sent home.

Firstly, Nick grilled Tenille about who the ‘mean girls’ were and after learning about Cat’s bullying ways took the jewellery designer to one side and read her the rights.

‘It seems that there’s a bit of commotion that’s been happening lately… I’m just wondering why, now, there’s so many times your name keeps popping up,’ Nick pressed.

‘I hope you don’t believe that. Like, yeah, I’m competitive and you see that side of me and you see my confidence when I come in, but, like, I’m definitely not a mean person,’ retaliated Cat adding: ‘I have a heart of gold!’

But Nick wasn’t having any of it and ousted her out of the mansion. ‘I think it’s time to leave,’ asserted the former Wallabies player.

And Romy was none too happy later seething to Alisha: ‘I literally am f**king mortified that Cat left tonight. She is the life of the mansion. She deserves it more than any of these losers… I’m really f**king pissed off’.

But the commotion didn’t stop there when at the rose ceremony Alisha and the new Brittany didn’t receive a rose.

Two of the girls were down, leaving the most troublesome of the trio, Romy left standing with Nick offering her the final rose.

Yet in a shock twist to the tale, Romy decides to decline his offer.

‘I don’t reckon I can, hey?’ the blonde sombrely told Nick with the Honey Badger swiftly saying, ‘well I don’t want you to be here if you don’t want to.’

And that was it. The end of The Tripod as we know it. Mean girls be gone.

Australia immediately took to social media to celebrate Nick’s clever moves, with what appeared to be the entire nation cheering him on.

Bye Felicia!
