A Russian mother has given birth to a huge baby girl, who weighed in at a whopping 6.3kgs.
The 42-year-old mother-of-five had no medical assistance as she gave birth to her baby daughter.
Remaining anonymous, the woman was reportedly shocked by the size of her newborn.
Local health authorities have detailed that the mother and child are both doing well.
The average weight for newborn babies is 3.5kgs, with only 5% of newborns weighing between 2.5 to 5kgs.
According to Guinness World Records, the heaviest baby born to a healthy mother was a boy weighing 10.2kgs, who was born in Italy in 1955.
