An Australian couple have built their daughter a seriously impressive cubby house – complete with chandelier, grand piano and built-in TV.
Schye Fox – who is mum to four-year-old Instagram star Millie-Belle Diamond – said she and her hubby came up with the plan after being unable to find anything suitable in Australia.
The result is a luxurious $5,000 ‘palace’ that their daughter can play in to her heart’s content.
‘And here she is “Palace MBD” (named by MBD herself) I couldn’t find a cubby in Australia that came with a crystal chandelier OR a built in TV OR flooring OR a feature wall OR gable windows …. so hubby and I designed it & made it from scratch,’ Schye shared to her daughter’s popular Instagram page, alongside a picture of Millie-Belle in her new pad.
‘It HAD to be fit for the queen,’ the proud mum added.
The cubby house features a pastel interior and is luxuriously furnished with a vanity from Pottery Barn Kids and a bow chair from Dreamy Kidz.
The front door boasts a bell from Bunnings, sprayed silver and there’s even a chandelier in the living room.
Millie-Belle, who is often pictured wearing Gucci designer gear, will also benefited from air conditioning – although her mum said that’s yet to be installed.
A feature wall in the tiny property was made from scratch – with the wallpaper sourced from Bunnings.
‘Yes hubby made it all from scratch without plans or a kit & yes her TV is in the wall,’ Schye told Millie-Belle’s 174,000 followers.
‘Aircon to come. And no he isn’t making anymore AND NO, we are not opening a “palace” business everrrrr,’ the mum added.
