KFC weddings are back! Australia’s first official KFC wedding was in 2020 and now, they’re giving away another one to two lucky love birds.

Think $80,000 worth of finger-licking good KFC catering, theming, venue hire, photography, and entertainment. All you need to do is propose to the love of your life, with KFC’s new onion rings.

Yes that’s right, KFC are launching their first onion rings, in a burger.

The KFC BBQ Onion Ring Burger is filled with their new sweet and tangy BBQ Sauce, Original Recipe Fillet, cheese, lettuce, and the pièce de résistance: two onion rings.

Here’s how you can win a wedding:

  1. Be over 18
  2. Buy a KFC BBQ Onion Ring Burger at participating restaurants (excludes WA and Wollongong)
  3. Take a photo proposing with the onion rings provided
  4. Click on promotions.kfc.com.au/weddings 
  5. Upload your proposal picture 
  6. Explain in 100 words or less why you deserve a KFC wedding and a quick 15 second video introducing yourself and why you love KFC. 

The most creative proposal will win their dream KFC wedding! But get in quick, as entries close on November 27, 2023.

The first KFC wedding was three years ago, when Kate and Harrison Cann, from Toowoomba in Queensland, got married.

Kate and Harrison’s first date was at KFC, so it was only fitting that they had a KFC truck for guests, roses from a go-bucket, and a KFC bucket on top of their wedding cake.

They won the competition by singing their own version of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air theme, changing it to be about their love and, most importantly, KFC.
