Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory star Denise Nickerson is in a critical condition in a US hospital following a stroke she had last June.
The 61-year-old, who played Violet Beauregarde in the 70s flick, is currently recovering in Intensive Care while her family rally to raise funds for her hospital bills.
The Facebook page Support for Jasmine and Josh Nickerson, created by her children, Jasmine and Josh asks for donations to pay for her time in the ICU.
The page provides updates on her health and offers fans autographed merchandise in exchange for financial support.
According to the Facebook page, Denise was recently fitted with a pacemaker but still needs to be fed through a feeding tube.
Alongside Willy Wonka, Denise has appeared in The Brady Bunch, Dark Shadows and The Electric Company.
The family has raised a US$2,492, according to TMZ.
