But, eagle-eyed viewers have noticed that the Channel 10 reality show has been giving away which team is going to Tribal Council BEFORE the immunity challenge each week.

The only episode that hasn’t seen the result given away before the challenge so far is episode 1.

As the teams battle it out each week to win the coveted ‘immunity idol’, the series shows a quick preview of how the challenge will work.

Fans quickly noticed that the winning teams colours are always shown in the preview, as well as a distinct clue that they will win.

In this challenge, seven members of each tribe have to push a giant wheel around a course, while two more tribe mates stand on top. Using a grappling hook, the two members atop the wheel will need to fish baskets with puzzle pieces, once all the baskets are collected, the final two tribe mates must use the pieces inside to solve a puzzle. First team to solve a puzzle wins immunity.

Before the challenge even starts, a completed ‘contenders’ puzzle is shown.

Later, after the gruelling challenge – the contenders win.

Episode 4

In the fourth, and most recent, episode of Survivor Australia the race really heated up, pushing the teams physically and mentally.

The immunity challenge in this episode saw the tribe members have to cut three seperate bits of rope which would release a giant ball. The ball then had to be rolled under a net. At the bottom of a steep ramp, all team members would have to first climb over and then hoist the ball over the wall. Finally, the rope had to be thrown over a beam, allowing the ball to be thrown at targets. The first team to smash all four targets won immunity.

In the explanation to this challenge, a ‘champions’ flag is won.

Sure enough, the champions go on to win the immunity challenge sending the contenders to tribal council .

It’s unclear if this editing is simply a coincidence or intentional.
