Horrifying footage of a policeman getting his head repeatedly slammed against a concrete road by a drunken man has emerged this morning.

The attack allegedly occurred after emergency services were called to a brawl on Fitzroy Street in Melbourne‘s St Kilda, at about 3 am on Sunday 24 February.
According to the Daily Mail Australia, the shocking footage was captured by a taxi driver.
The video shows a man wearing a grey t-shirt and light coloured pants gripping the police officers head and smashing it several times into the road.
It has been reported by Daily Mail Australia that just moments before the attack, police had been chasing the 26-year-old man through the Melbourne streets of St Kilda.
Victoria Police Superintendent Tony Silva described the attack as ‘animalistic’ and one of the worst he’s ever witnessed
Tony Silva told Nine News: “I would describe it as rag dolling him, smashing his head into the concrete roadway.”
Silva continued: “This is the worst of society… they will find the full force of the law is their future.”
According to the Daily Mail Australia, there are five suspects both men and women of Caucasian appearance, who are believed to be in their 20’s.
