Taking to social media following Tuesday night’s episode, viewers slammed a couple for their ‘unrealistic expectations.’

Husband and wife Andrew and Mel wanted a home for their two children in an affluent Sydney suburb, despite their budget of $1.5million.

Viewers were quick to point out these unrealistic expectations.

‘So unrealistic. Another magic $0 full house renovation on #buyingblind tonight. Ep. 2 feat. the Aussie battlers was great, the rest, questionable,’ one viewer wrote.

Another added, ‘Did 9 choose the most unlikeable couples for #BuyingBlind on purpose?’

Agreeing, another wrote: ‘They need to bring in more genuine hard luck stories into #buyingblind. There’s gotta be people out there more appreciative / likeable / deserving than these guys.’

At the end of the episode, Mel and Andrew bought their ‘dream home’ – a three property bedroom home in Forestville, Northern Sydney for $1.6million.

‘I do have to say, I think they’ve done really well at personalising everything,’ Mel said.

‘The location, that was so important to us…and just having that community feel – they couldn’t have done better.’
