The Project host Lisa Wilkinson has made a shock claim about Meghan Markle’s marriage to Prince Harry.
Speaking about the former actresses, Lisa said: “She [Meghan] is so intelligent and so good at public speaking, she’s really strong in areas like girls’ education and homelessness, poverty.
“I think, did she marry into the wrong family?”
Lisa then added that Meghan was “probably going to be held back” in the royal family.
Shocked, her co host Waleed Aly interjected: “Did you mention this when you covered the royal wedding last year?”
Fellow co host Steve Price also weighed in saying: “She’s got a pretty big soap box now, though.”
“She does, I just hope they don’t try to clip her wings,” replied Lisa.
