Renovation show The Block has become a landmine of break-ups and breakdowns since launching in 2003. Tough conditions and grueling filming schedules have seen even the strongest couples succumb to the pressure.
Often dubbed the ‘Curse of The Block’, many teams have called it quits on their relationship — some before the cameras even stopped rollings.
And it seems this season may be no different, with Melbourne couple Julia Treuel and Sasha Wright-Neville already raising concerns about their future together, thanks to constant fighting and emotional breakdowns on the show.
‘Being on the show totally tested us every single day,’ Julia, 31, admits to New Idea.
‘You’re always under a lot of pressure, and you’re tired and you’re physically and emotionally exhausted.’
