Married At First Sight: Craig and Andy’s marriage breakdown

That escalated quickly

Married at First Sight’s Craig left husband Andy claiming his needs weren’t being met.

Things became tense while the same sex couple as they honeymooned in Christchurch, with Craig packing his bags and leaving.

‘We’re on top of the mountain living the dream and he doesn’t even want to touch me,’ Craig, 41, said.

‘He doesn’t even want to kiss me.

‘I thought I was married to someone, I didn’t realise I had to win him over.’

Andy, however, says he wants to take things slowly.

‘I find it really difficult to let people in. I generally keep them at arm’s distance until I give them my trust and they’ve earned my trust,’ he said.

While Craig was initially attracted to Andy, the lack of affection during the 48 hours they have known each others seems to taking its toll.

‘I’m very sensitive and very emotional, and if my needs aren’t being met I sort of, I walk away,’ said Craig.

After Craig left, Andy appears to be hoping he will come back. Talking to the camera, Andy says, ‘If he was looking for somebody who wouldn’t give up on him then they found the right guy.’

‘Am I holding on to hope? I don’t know.’

Craig and Andy weren’t the only couple to hit a road block on their honeymoon, with Dave being labelled ‘the biggest douchebag on Aussie TV’
