Actress and singer Lea Michele walked down the aisle and is now officially married to her long-time love Zandy Reich.
The 32-year-old star of TV series Glee looked beautiful in a classic, strapless gown custom-made by designer Monique Lhuillier.
Lea’s makeup was the talk of the day however. It was stunning yet under-stated, allowing the actresses beauty to shine through. Plus, her makeup team has revealed that much of her look was created using budget buys we can pick up at the supermarket.
For example, Lea wore L’Oreal Paris False Lash Butterfly Wings Mascara.

Clearly, Lea is a fan and so are many other folk with the mascara racking up hundreds of five-star reviews on the L’Oreal Paris website.
It wasn’t the only bargain buy that helped transform Lea on her big day.
Makeup artist Meredith Baraf says she also used a number of individual false lashes by Kiss to give Lea’s amazing eyes extra dimension. You can buy a Kiss Lash Couture Faux Venus Lash Kit for just $17.99 at Priceline with a kit containing a full 60 lashes.
These helped to provide Lea’s ‘Sophia Loren post-vacation look’, Meredith told People.
Aside from her dramatic lashes Lea’s beauty look was decidedly simple.
“The smooth clean lines of the hair drew attention to the sparkle in her eyes,” said Meredith. “We focused on bringing out her inner glow and accentuating her features to enhance her natural beauty.”
And from the pictures we’re seeing, it’s clear they did an excellent job.
