Kate Ritchie reveals all in her latest campaign.
Kate Ritchie has joined forces with Jockey to launch their latest campaign “She’s got the power”. Celebrating female empowerment is close to Kate’s heart and she believes confidence comes from within or in this case from what’s underneath, “I’m here to tell women that Jockey can be their secret weapon, for all styles, all occasions.” Kate tells New Idea.
Ritchie is no stranger to appearing in her underwear, modelling in her 3rd Jockey campaign, Kate credits her self-confidence to motherhood. “Being shot in my underwear is far from the most comfortable I will ever be but there has been a new-found confidence in my own skin since becoming a mother.”
Clearly the author and mum to 4-year-old Mae knows the importance of being a positive role model to both her fans and her daughter and feels it’s important to reduce the negativity women inflict on themselves. “By being aware every day of the example I am setting to the little mind I’m nurturing at home I can also be kinder to me and retrain some negative thinking. It’s a win win.”

Apart from choosing the right underwear, what makes a woman powerful according to Kate? “Using her power in a respectful positive way” Kate tells New Idea “displaying confidence and authority along with kindness goes a long way in my books”.
