She describes herself as a ‘cr*p housewife’ on social media, now Jessica Rowe reveals how her husband Peter Overton helps out.
‘He picks up my anti-depressant medication from the chemist. I think that’s really nice,’ Rowe said on Studio 10 this morning, adding, ‘And tampons sometimes.’
‘He has no probs [with it].’
Rowe has been open about her battle with her struggle with anxiety.
She told Daily Mail Australia last year: ‘Before the birth of my daughters I was getting anxious and suffered panic attacks.
‘I view a pane of glass between me and rest of the world but the tablets help a lot, they worked for me early on.
‘I got the right medication first off.’
Rowe also suffered post natal depression, which she says she didn’t want to recognise.
‘It took a while for me to help.
‘My psychiatrist was fantastic, I love my anti-depressants, my medication, which I’m still on.
‘It keeps me well. I shouldn’t say “like” but I’m not ashamed. I’ve been on them on and off for eight years, but not when I was pregnant with Giselle.’
