American actress January Jones has stepped out with a chic new bob.
The Mad Men star has worn her blonde tresses long and lush for years but the woman who brought Betty Draper to life has gone short – and when we say short, we mean short.
January, 41, is now rocking a chin-length straight bob cut and it looks sensational on her – who knew she had cheekbones to die for? Not us. But we do now as this new style highlights her bone structure which (surprise!) is absolutely perfect.
January, who starred in Mad Men from 2007 to 2015, a role for which she was nominated for two Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Television Series Drama and a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama, showed off her daring new cut on her Instagram account where it drew plenty of praise from her followers including some very well-known ones.
Actress Elle Fanning was delighted with January’s chop.
“Oh my god …. you did it,” she wrote, adding a full six exclamation marks.
“That is the dream cut.”
Supermodel Linda Evangelista kept it simple posting seven black heart emojis. Alison Brie went for one word – and it was this – LOVE. Jaime King said the same – only three times.
And there were thousands more comments all of the same ilk. Seems January is onto a winner with this one.
The cut was carried out by celebrity stylist Bridget Brager who was also responsible for Bryce Dallas Howard’s recently-chopped (and incredibly cool) blunt fringe and Sarah Paulson’s slick Met Gala look.
