The Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle is undoubtedly beautiful. The former model and Hollywood actress has perfect features, a glorious smile and cheekbones to die for, but it’s her golden skin that really sets her apart from the rest.
Now that Prince Harry’s new bride is pregnant (Meghan’s first child is due in the UK spring), she is even more glowing than usual – as you can see in the video below. The clever Duchess isn’t relying on nature, only however.
Meghan is falling back on an age-old makeup artist trick that adds serious shimmer and shine providing a beautiful heathy-looking sheen to the complexion.
That makeup artist wizardry, revolves around the use of a shimmery highlighter or luminising product and it’s considerably easier to achieve than it might look.
All it takes, really, is the right product and a teeny bit of know-how, which we’re going to share with you right here.
If you wish to use highlighter across your decolletage as Meghan Markle loves to do, sweep, or blend your chosen product along the higher points of your collarbone – that is, the areas that stand out from your body.
You can also apply a little to the shoulders as is Meghan’s wont. This makes those area ‘pop’ and the shimmer gives the look of healthy, glowing, fresh skin which, as we all know, looks good on everyone.
If you’re very keen you might like to follow Meghan’s lead and also apply highlighter to the high points of the face. If you look closely at these sweet snaps of her at the Royal Variety Performance 2018 you’ll see the Duchess has also applied a shimmering product to the bridge of her nose, the middle of her top lip and the highest points of her cheekbones.
Doing so means that the light plays beautifully off her face every time she turns which only adds to her magic. Like to give it a try? We recommend NARS High Voltage Highlighter Palette, $61 or Mecca Cosmetica Enlightened Lit From Within Powder Mini, $28.
