Could the curse of the first date mean it’s all over for Bachelor contestant Nikki Gogan?
The ‘first date curse,’ has haunted every other season and could soon mean Nikki will be packing her bags sooner than we think.
In the first Australian season of The Bachelor, 22-year-old Sarah was asked on the first one-on-one date with Tim Robards. She made it to the final eight and was then eliminated.
Season two saw Blake Garvey chose accounting student Jessica Jones for his fist date, however she was dropped in the final four.
Sam Wood’s first date Sarah Mackay, 26, looked lik she was in with a chance, but was evicted in the final three.
Despite talk of a ‘curse’, host Osher Gunsberg said Nikki shouldn’t worry .
‘Nikki shouldn’t worry [about the curse] at all,’ he told The Daily Telegraph.
‘She and Richie got off to a cracking start, and she’s becoming more emotionally invested every day.
‘I’m not taking notes as to when people say they’re in love, but I am very happy for her regardless.’
