We gave it a whirl. The steamer is compact and lightweight, and it heats up in 30 seconds. There’s an added bonus for when you’re really running behind and haven’t had time to wash your favourite frock; the steam removes odour from garments too. Is there anything it can’t do?
One online reviewer, Elizabeth, says it has replaced her iron.
‘It works on every type of garment, even curtains. I was a bit wary of having this break down, but it has defied expectations and been steady and reliable,’ she said in an online review.

And in a further miracle, another reviewer says her son has taken to steaming his own school uniform every morning.
‘Never ironed once in his life, but steams his uniform every morning and steams most of mine and the kids’ clothes too,’ the reviewer said.
That would never happen with an iron. Who knew household chores could be so fun!
