It’s no secret that actress and comedian Roseanne Barr won’t be returning on the hit reboot of her classic sitcom, Roseanne – which will now be named The Connors.
But now the disgraced star, who was fired over a racist tweet scandal, has confirmed her character will die, and the horrible way she will go.
Speaking on the Walk Away YouTube show, which encourages people to abandon America’s Democrat party, Roseanne said the ‘domestic goddess’ will be a victim of America’s tragic opioid abuse epidemic.
‘Oh yeah, they killed her,’ she told the show. ‘They have her die of an opioid overdose.
‘So it wasn’t enough to [get rid of me], they had to so cruelly insult the people who loved that family in that show. They had to cruelly insult them and that’s what they chose to do.’
The character’s struggle with pain killers is an established part of the show’s narrative, but Roseanne says she never planned for her to die from the problem.
‘She should have died as a hero,’ she complains. ‘Or not at all.’
In another telling moment, Roseanne took a swipe at her former costars, making it clear that she doesn’t forgive them for their perceived treachery.
‘I feel that they all lost a really good friend. That’s it.’
