Natalie Barr has revealed a surprising incident she encountered while attending her children’s junior sport.
While discussing new rules which have been introduced in New South Wales for adults attending junior sport matches on Sunrise this morning, the 50-year-old mum admitted she had witnessed some pretty intense arguments between parents as her own son’s sporting events.
“We have had people hauled into lawyers offices to try and mediate,” she said.
The Sunrise co-host is mum to sons Lachlan, 17, and Hunter 13.
“It’s not A grade, it’s definitely not, this is bargain basement”
“It’s no where near the grand final or the FA cup…it doesn’t matter who wins”
The new code of conduct for adults attending junior sport in NSW includes no screaming from the sidelines, letting the coaches ‘do the coaching’ and keeping it light and fun.
Also on the panel with Natalie were radio presenter Deborah Clay and author and journalist Richard Glover.
