Their split broke the hearts of Australians and now eagle-eyed fans think they may have noticed a revealing detail in a new photo of former Wiggles couple Emma Watkins and Lachlan Gillespie.
Yellow Wiggle Emma took to her Instagram page on Friday to share a snap of The Wiggles sporting whiskers to promote their new album Wiggle Pop.
The album features Basil the cat – who has his own track – and Emma can be seen holding the adorable kitten to her chest as she smiles broadly at the camera.
Meanwhile, her former love, Lachy, is stood at the other end of the group.
He also sports whiskers and can be seen putting out his left hand like a paw in the humorous photo.
And that’s when eagle-eyed fans noticed something…
‘Why is Lachy Wiggle still wearing his wedding ring?’ asked one commenter.
‘Probably filmed before everything happened so it can’t be changed,’ wrote another.
‘Definitely old photo. Look how small Basil is,’ suggested another.
‘…and Emma isn’t wearing hers!’ wrote another hawk-eyed supporter.
While Lachy and Emma have split, the pair have been at pains to show they remain good friends.
Seven days earlier, 32-year-old Lachy shared a cute selfie of the former couple to Instagram.
Fans were quick to comment on how admirable the former couple’s relationship is.
‘Good for you guys. You are both bigger people than I could be during a divorce. I’ll be praying for you both and hoping you both get what you want and need,’ noted one fan.
‘The most amazing example of professionalism I’ve ever seen! no one knows what happens behind closed doors (nor is it our business) but the way you’ve both carried yourselves publicly is incredible! great example a lot of others should follow,’ said another.
