The feud between Jennifer Aniston and her late mother continues beyond the grave with reports saying the actress refused to take her mother’s ashes.
A US magazine reports Aniston, 47, attended the memorial service for her mother but reportedly said no to taking home the ashes.
‘She said, “I don’t want them,”‘ a source close to the family told In Touch Weekly, adding: ‘Someone tried to say that Jen thinks having the ashes around her home is morbid, that it’s not her style.’
‘Everyone knows that she and Nancy had a horrible relationship,’ the source continued. ‘She was an absentee daughter and now, even with Nancy gone, it seems that she still doesn’t want her mum around.’
Aniston stopped talking her mum in 1996 after she gave an interview to tabloid TV show Hard Copy. Then, three years later, Dow wrote about their falling-out in From Mother and Daughter to Friends: A Memoir.
