Delta Goodrem has been a judge on The Voice Australia since 2012, but even her longstanding position can’t protect her from the occasional public criticism.

Delta claimed to be a “fan of rap music” outside of work, but her statement was swiftly shut down by social media users who said they did not believe the pop songstress listens to rap in her spare time, Daily Mail Australia reports.
Some even blasted the judge for trying to appear cool, with one user tweeting: “Delta ‘it’s sexy and cool and girls like me like to listen to rap music’. Bye.”
And the trolling didn’t stop there.
A slew of Twitter users branded Goodrem “infuriating” to watch, with many pleading with her to “stop trying so hard”.
“25 minutes in and Delta is annoying already,” one person glibly wrote.
It hasn’t been a great month for Delta, after the singer was reportedly left “devastated” by her latest career blow.
According to insiders, after attempting to secure a major record deal in the US, the pop star has been left in tears.
The 34-year-old is said to be planning her return to Australia after her failed attempts and having her confidence knocked.
Reports are also swirling that The Voice is set to be axed, after a shaky season which has already seen fellow judge Boy George storm off set.
