Tracey Grimshaw is one of the most respected TV presenters in the business, with an impressive career spanning a remarkable four decades.
But it turns out the usually straight-laced journalist has a wild side, after revealing this one rumour dating back to the late ’90s was indeed true.
The scandalous story was that the respected broadcaster was locked out of her hotel room completely naked at the 1998 Logie Awards.
Prior to her interview with Stellar Magazine, the only details that had been known of that night was that Grimshaw had been drinking tequila shots with good friend James Packer until around 4 am.
According to The Daily Mail, it was at that time the Current Affair host decided she wanted to have a shower, which resulted in her being stranded in the hotel hallway buck naked.
Speaking with Stellar Magazine, Tracey finally conceded the juicy details explaining that after she had mistaken the front door for the bathroom door, “I locked myself out of my hotel room starkers. It was 3.45am and there was no-one in the hallway.”
Tracey then revealed she used her neighbour’s newspaper to cover herself, “I realised that the guest opposite [my hotel room] had The Australian delivered. Thank god it was a broadsheet and not the Herald Sun!”
Who knew Tracey was such a wild child!
