Tom Cruise hasn’t seen his daughter with actress Katie Holmes for years, according to tabloid US Weekly.
The publication reports that whilst Tom can see Suri for up to 10 days a month, he chooses not to.
‘Every person is allowed to see their child if they wanted to,’ the source tells US Weekly.
‘He chooses not to because she is not a Scientologist.’
Tom, 56, and Katie, 39 got married in 2006 but split in 2012 and according to US Weekly, Tom hasn’t been photographed with his daughter since 2013.
Katie has since moved on with actor Jamie Foxx – although the pair kept their romance under wraps for several years.
Suri, meanwhile is now 12 years old and attends school in New York.
Speaking previously to Today Katie revealed she likes to bring ‘perspective’ to her daughter’s life.
‘I do a lot to put perspective on life,’ Katie said.
‘We help out the homeless. We do small acts of kindness. Again, it’s a daily thing.
‘I don’t over-gift. I don’t inundate my child with a lot of things. We’re trying to raise good humans and some days we’re better at it than others. You don’t always get treats.
‘We just focus on what she’s passionate about and how you feel when you achieve your goals,’ Katie went on.
‘Be true to your sense of opinions. I listen to her. It’s a daily thing. I try to reward her for her hard work, and not necessarily the results of the hard work.’
