Her schedule includes co-hosting the show Monday to Friday from 5.30am, and then anchoring the evening news bulletin on weekends.
It would no doubt be a tough gig for the host, who also juggles work with being a mum to her three children, Darcy, 10, Elsa, 8, and Audrey, 3.
“I’m exhausted just thinking about it,” a source told news.com.au. “Not many people come to mind when I try to imagine someone else so willingly putting in those hours. Live TV is gruelling stuff. She’s a gun.”
According to media consultant Steve Allen, it’s part of a branding exercise. “It brings Nine back to where many think it should be, as the professional and slightly more upmarket home of news,” he claims.
