Matt Agnew’s season of The Bachelor is looking like it will bring some much-needed wholesomeness back into the series, after the Honey Badger’s disastrous turn as its leading lad.
And with the premiere episode just a little over a week away, Channel Ten has decided to introduce us to just some of the lucky ladies competing for that coveted rose.

This year’s bunch looks to be a mixed bag, from health and wellness coaches to civil engineers to pilates instructors and high school teachers, Matt certainly has plenty of choices!

Sogand Mohtat
The stunning 30-year-old Sogand is a Persian civil engineer based in New South Wales.
Kristen Czyszek
Kristen is a 24-year-old researcher from Queensland and has already been pegged as one of this season’s front runners! This smart cookie also just returned from two years abroad in China, so we’re sure she’ll be able to intellectually challenge astrophysicist Matt.
Abbie Chatfield
Sweet Abbie became a viral sensation before the show even begun! The curly-haired cutie from Queensland is 23-years-old, and will forever be remembered as the girl who proudly exclaimed ‘I’m a Gemini’ after Matt told her he was an astrophysicist.
Even American actress Sarah Hyland thought it was amazing.
Helena Sauzier
This absolute babe hails from Perth and is a health and wellness coach (who can speak french).
Helena has made her honest intentions very clear, stating that in 10 years time she sees herself, “happily married with three beautiful children. Working in a job that I love and that fulfils me”.
Chelsie McLeod
Yet another brainy broad, 28-year-old Chelsie is a Melbourne-based chemical engineer.
Chelsie’s dream date is going to the beach, so take notes Matt!
Vakoo Kauapirura
Beauty and brains? The striking 23-year-old model from New South Wales certainly knows how to make an entrance in hot pink!
Elly Miles
Miss Elly Miles is a nurse from the New South Wales coastal city of Newcastle and is described by her friends as a “classic Aussie girl and a bit of a bogan”.
Elly likes to stay clear of traditional dates, saying: “I find sit-down dinners can put a lot of pressure on you to have conversation flow. Hence why a fun activity is always a good option and a good chance to have a bit of banter!”
Brianna Ferrante
Brianna is a clerical officer from Perth who has “no filter”.

This beautiful blonde is a Brisbane girl who works as a branded content producer. Sophie decided to ditch online dating and turn to reality TV instead!

Cassandra Mamone
33-year-old Cassandra probably has one of the most well-established careers amongst the girls. The stunning brunette is a well-known jewellery designer from Adelaide, with her speciality being in engagement rings.
Who knows, if all things go well Cassandra could be designing her own engagement ring for Matt!

This PE teacher from Sydney is also a keen surfer and snowboarder, let’s hope Matt likes outdoor activities!
Sam Royce
While we can’t work out what it is Sam actually does for a living, if the 29-year-old’s Instagram is anything to go by, Sam enjoys a good hike (and has the abs to prove it).

Danush Deravi
Danush, who currently works in finance, reveals how she sacrificed love for her career.
“I focused a lot on my career and my studies. I haven’t met the right guy at the right time.
“But I’ve watched this show work for some people and thought, ‘Why couldn’t it work for me?'”
Keely Spedding
327-year-old Keely from Queensland is a textiles designer with a ‘snowboarding addiction’.
Describing herself as ‘very low maintenance’, Keely insists, “You just need to make sure that I am fed and watered every couple of hours and I will be happy as can be.”
