She was the ambitious blonde who tried to break up the all-girl alliance currently controlling the Survivor camp.
And Jennah-Louise Salkeld has plenty to say about her fellow cast members, and the show itself, now that she’s left the reality show.
Jennah-Louise, or JL as she is best known, said, ‘To be honest, I almost breathed a little sigh of relief when I was voted out. It had hit that point where I’d been out there for so long and having no one talk to you, it’s just very hard. And it can be a very toxic environment.
‘To be stuck on an island with people that you don’t necessarily want to be stuck on that island with? That’s very challenging. I don’t think I’ve experienced that since high school.’
The law and politics graduate is no doubt referring to the trio of players who have been dubbed the show’s ‘mean girls’ – Flick Egginton, El Rowland and Brooke Jowett.
The 27-year-old adds that she has received plenty of support since leaving the show.
‘I’ve been contacted by quite a few fans and viewers saying, “thank you”.
‘Saying that I’ve inspired them and even to the point where they’ve talked to me about bullying and stuff like that. It’s nice to provide inspiration to people.’
