The first Married At First Sight dinner party kicked off with a bang thanks to a melodramatic meltdown from bride Jessika.
Things started to get uncomfortable when electrician Mike, 44, asked Jessika’s husband Mick if the blonde had some cosmetic work done to her face.
Mike said it was obvious Jessika had plumped her lips, adding: “I find her a really attractive young girl”.
After learning about the comment, the 26-year-old dramatically confronted the Queensland tradie in front of hubby Mick – but she didn’t get the reaction she hoped for.
The 32-year-old farmer sat in silence as his wife berated their fellow contestant for calling her “fake”, which prompted the administration officer to start a separate argument about why he hadn’t stuck up for her.
Defending himself, Mick said: “I didn’t hear it darl – I can’t bloody stand up for anything if I didn’t hear it.”
But Jessika was having none of it and snapped “I am f**king upset!” before storming out of the gathering.
Launching a tearful tirade at her perplexed spouse, she continued: “I didn’t want to have to do that and you weren’t there for me – you should still be there for me as a partner!
“You weren’t looking at me. You sat there the whole time, looking at him [Mike] – like I had to deal with it, it’s not fair!”
Mick struggled to keep a straight face during the bizarre rant, and it seems social media users found it similarly hilarious.
