Troubled Silverchair frontman Daniel Johns has sparked grave concerns for his wellbeing by collapsing in broad daylight following a daytime drinking session.
The 37-year-old musician stunned onlookers in the wealthy Sydney suburb of Double Bay as he staggered around shirtless whilst leaning on friend, Joshua Mullane for support.
With pink lipstick smeared on his face and his topless torso revealing his many tattoos, witnesses to the worrying scene revealed that Daniel was making a ‘fool’ of himself.
‘Double Bay was so busy because of Christmas parties, so a lot of people witnessed his antics. He was making quite a scene and people had their phones out and were filming him,’ one onlooker revealed.
‘They (Daniel and Joshua) walked back towards us and at that point he had his shirt off and lipstick applied,” the source said. “And then that’s where Daniel fell over. His mate was helping him get up’.
Daniel’s latest worrying appearance marks his return to Sydney, after moving to Los Angeles in June on an ‘indefinite’ hiatus.
Last year, the rock star was photographed sleeping on the concrete outside his Surry Hills apartment block after struggling to get inside.
