After eight previous nominations, Keith Urban became the first Australian to win the Academy of Country Music’s Entertainer of the Year Award.
And just like one of his country ballads, form the get-go, Keith made his acceptance speech about love.
“Thank you so much, Baby Girl. I love you so much,” he said, eyes locked on his wife Nicole Kidman.
His sweet tribute followed some serious PDA from the front row, when he locked lips – more than once – and exchanged multiple “I love yous” with Nic before taking to the stage to accept his gong.

And fans couldn’t get enough of the duo’s love-fest.
“Watching the way you two love each other was the highlight of the night for me. Simply beautiful. Enjoy the celebration. And thank you for leading with love always,” commented one fan, alongside an Instagram post Nicole shared from backstage.
Another simply called them, “QUEEN AND KING.”
This is one “date night,” Keith will never forget!
