Their characters’ engagement was one of the biggest stories on Home and Away last year, and it looks like the on-screen romance is showing no signs of fizzling out anytime soon.

The former Bachelorette looked tanned and trim in stylish workout gear as she leaned in for a passionate kiss with her TV love interest.

The 29-year-old reality-turned-soap star swept her blonde locks into a messy updo and wore a fluorescent orange backpack for the scene.

Melbourne-born Jake was similarly dressed down in dark cargo shorts and a sleeveless charcoal shirt which showcased his tatted and toned arms to perfection.

Sam covered up in a striking purple t-shirt for a later scene, and seemed to be wearing minimal makeup.

The ex-radio host recently spoke to WHO magazine about finding happiness in all aspects of her life since landing the lucrative role of Jasmine on Home and Away.

Just as her TV love life takes off, in the real world “Australia’s sweetheart” has fallen blissfully in love with her boyfriend of one year, Dave Bashford.

We’re in a really good place, we’re the best of mates, we laugh all the time,” Sam gushed to WHO.

The rising actress also credits her man for helping her to cope with anxiety and depression, saying “he’s the one to pick up the pieces after a breakdown or anxiety attack”.

Sam has been open about her struggles with mental health and now runs a dedicated assistance and advisory platform, Believe, with her sister Kristine.

“It’s so important to be open and talk about and share experiences, when you are depressed you feel isolated and alone and it feels quite dark. We want people to feel that they are not alone and that there is a support network,” she said.
