Fans were sent into a frenzy on Wednesday night when a teaser for episode seven of Offspring showed Nina’s late partner Patrick back on the show.
When the show returns to screens on August 24, Matt Le Nevez will return to the show as the beloved doctor in Nina’s (Asher Keddie) fantasy as she grapples with the decision to use Patrick’s frozen sperm and give their daughter Zoe a sister.
‘I’ve been a huge fan of the show since before I joined and continue to be to this day,’ Matt said.
‘To step back onto their set and work with Asher again was an opportunity I could not pass up. The cast and crew feel like family to me and I was absolutely thrilled to be asked back.’
It’s set to be a massive second half to season six as Nina decides if she will have another of her own children or donate an egg to sister Billie (Kat Stewart).
Either way, there’s set to be a new baby on Offspring and we can’t wait to see how it all plays out!
