The contestants of Married at First Sight season might be gagged on certain subjects, but that hasn’t stopped Clare Verrall, a self-proclaimed ‘loud-mouth’ from season season two. She alleges the show has a very dirty secret, claiming the matching and compatibility testing come a distant second to the producers’ need for drama.
In a twitter rant last night, Claire filled in the blanks for fans of the show wondering why there wasn’t a three-month follow-up to see how the couples are still going.
‘EVERYONE, there is no 3 month catch up as they all broke up within weeks. Many of them have new partners now & can’t wait to move on,’ she wrote on Twitter last night.
Claire, who ‘married’ Jono, continued saying, ‘@FlossAus crew told us at our catch ups as this season was filmed straight after ours. They said it was a sh**show.’
In a shocking twist, Claire went on to reveal who has final say on the couples, and it isn’t the ‘experts’.
‘The ‘experts’ don’t make the matches, the executive producer does. There is no psychology behind these matches at all,’ she said, adding that she never met the show’s experts during the social experiment.
‘…@Channel9 should be ashamed. We wanted love stories not manufactured drama.’
