But on Monday the Queensland electrician debuted a shocking new look, transforming his appearance with a bizarre brunette wig.
Taking to Instagram, the bald MAFS star shared a topless photo of himself sporting the hair piece with the wistful caption: “If only.”
The post quickly racked up almost 6,000 likes and a series of comments from his former co-stars, including self professed spiritual guru Dino Hira who asked: “Where is Mike?! 😆🤔”
Intruder bride Tamara Joy couldn’t contain her laughter, writing: “Omg I can’t even 😂🙏🏽🙏🏽”
While an amused fan joked: “Lock up your girlfriends, fellas.”
Back in March, Mike confirmed he had undergone scalp tattooing during a chat with Nova’s Fitzy & Wippa.
Gold Coast based clinic Hairline Solutions is responsible for Mike’s dramatic transformation which he seems thrilled with, even remarking to Fitzy & Wippa: “How good do I look?!”
The procedure – known as scalp micropigmentation – involves the replacement of hair follicles through tiny impressions of specialised needles and pigments.
According to the company website, more than 50,000 impressions are needed for full scalp coverage.
