‘I hope I’m going to make a lot of people jealous,’ Manu Feildel grins as he tells New Idea about his deliciously good new show.
The My Kitchen Rules co-host shares his culinary adventures in Around The World With Manu – a passion project he’s long wanted to make a reality.
‘About 15 years ago, I was having a drink with one of my best mates and I was telling him that one day I want to do some TV work,’ he spills.
‘We started talking about different ideas and I suddenly thought of the book that I read when I was a kid and loved – Around The World In 80 Days.
Manu’s adventure saw him facing some unusual situations – from cooking lunch for VIPs on the 123rd floor of a Dubai tower and sampling street food in India to wrestling in Japan!
‘I got naked and put a nappy on and fought with sumo wrestlers,’ he laughs. ‘I think Australians are going to love seeing me with a big nappy around my legs!’
