Reality TV diva Lisa Vanderpump revealed her brother’s tragic suicide prompted her to walk away from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
In an appearance on Monday night’s episode of RuPaul’s talk show, the 58-year-old restaurateur admitted the loss of her beloved sibling Mark Vanderpump was the final straw that led her to quit Bravo’s RHOBH after a stellar nine seasons.

The British reality queen said Mark’s untimely death was “too much to handle” alongside her feud with her RHOBH co-stars, Daily Mail reports.
Lisa’s cast mates – Erika Jayna, Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Dorit Kemsley and Teddi Mellencamp – accused the former actress of leaking stories to the press and conspiring against them.
“It was such a brutal season for me and it was at a time where I was floundering,” she told the Drag Race founder.
Lisa began filming her final season less than three months after Mark’s suicide, and admitted she “just wasn’t in the right space” and “wasn’t prepared” to continue with the popular franchise.
Mark, a 59-year-old millionaire DJ, had been going through a divorce, health issues and financial problems in the lead up to his death on April 30 last year at his home in England, The Times UK reports.
“I found that I couldn’t deal with something that I could normally deal with, so then it just went on and it was cumulative, and in the end I just said, ‘I can’t do this anymore’,” Lisa previously said of Mark’s passing in an interview for Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live.
