Kate Middleton was the picture of royal elegance on the red carpet at the BAFTA awards in London last night.

The Duchess of Cambridge stunned in a bridal-inspired asymmetric gown by Alexander McQueen alongside husband Prince William, who attends the awards every year as part of his presidency of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.

Kate opted for smoked, charcoal eye makeup enhanced with a subtle winged liner while keeping her complexion radiant and dewy.

The mother-of-three swept her brunette locks into an elaborate up do to showcase a pair of pearl drop earrings which were once Princess Diana’s favorite accessory.

The Cambridges’ led the charge of a glittering array of international celebrities at the Royal Albert Hall for the 72nd iteration of the awards.
