TV favourite Karl Stefanovic and Cassandra Thorburn called time on their 21-year marriage in 2016, and three years later Cass is “genuinely” trying to move on, according to her Studio 10 co-host Sarah Harris.

Speaking on the Kyle and Jackie O Show of how Cass “brings this whole kind of new vibe” to Studio 10, Sarah, 37, told the radio hosts how her colleague is determined to reinvent herself and leave the past behind her.
Sarah even jumped to her defence when Kyle joked that Cass, 48, was a “scorned woman”.
“It must be very hard to front up and then always being questioned about your very famous ex-husband. She genuinely wants to move on,” Sarah said.
Cass’s experience as a newly-divorced single mum has also brought a “new perspective” to the morning TV show, Sarah explained.
Adding how “funny” she thinks the mum of three is, and how she’s a great fit for the show.
“She just seems happy, and that’s what you want for everyone involved in that situation, right?” Sarah concluded.
Karl, 44, and Cass, who share children Jackson, River and Ava, split up in 2016.
Not long after the couple separated, Karl began dating, Jasmine Yarbrough, 35. And the couple were married in a star-studded Mexican ceremony in December 2018.
Cass is yet to make public any new relationships, although the Dancing with the Stars contestant became very close with Samuel Johnson on the show — with rumours of a romance between the pair.
“Samuel and I get along so well,” Cass said at the time.
“We’ve gotten close and we ‘get’ each other. We clicked instantly.”
