Are wedding bells on the cards for Karl Stefanovic and Jasmine Yarbrough?
The pair were surprise guests of honour at an exclusive wedding in Byron Bay recently, never leaving
each other’s side as they laughed with friends and partied well into the night.
Onlookers tell New Idea Karl was ‘very excited’ to show off his much-younger model girlfriend to fellow wedding guests, being openly affectionate with Jasmine and working the room to introduce her to as many pals as possible.
‘Karl has been thinking about marrying Jasmine pretty much since they met,’ says a source close to the Today host. ‘He’s 100 per cent smitten and knows she’s the one – and their day at the Byron Bay wedding has made him think about marriage even more. Looking at the bride and groom, he just found himself wishing it was he and Jasmine making lifelong vows to one another instead.’
Karl recently opened up about his ‘really lovely relationship’ with Jasmine, which started in December just three months after ending his 21-year marriage to former wife Cassandra, who is mother to his three children.
‘I certainly did not expect to meet someone five months after I broke up with my wife. That was not planned, I did not know her before. I met her on a boat in Sydney,’ he told Stellar magazine.
‘It was unexpected and lovely.’
