Just five days after he underwent emergency surgery to remove a brain tumour, former Home And Away star Johnny Ruffo has shared an important update on his health.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the X Factor singer posted a snap of himself and his family in seemingly high spirits.
“Thankyou to everyone for all the support over the last week,” he captioned the shot.
“Off to the docs with my mums 😂 keeping positive ✨”
Fans were quick to support the star and send him their well-wishes.
“Hope it all goes well mate,” one user penned.
“Thinking of you! Hope it all goes well, take care of yourself x,” added another.
The 29-year-old broke the news of his devastating diagnosis on social media last Thursday, sharing a photo of a gruesome-looking scar.
“Some things in life really put things into perspective, hoping for a positive result, keep me in your thoughts x” he wrote.
It was later revealed in a statement that Ruffo had initially been admitted to hospital after suffering from a migraine.
