Home and Away‘s Sam Frost has hit back at claims she secretly split from boyfriend Dave Bashford after he unfollowed her on social media.
Speaking on the red carpet of the Star Gold Coast at the Logie Awards on Sunday night, the reality star turned TV actress clarified confusion by confirming she and Dave are very much together.

Asked if an engagement could be imminent – as her Summer Bay character Jasmine Delaney prepares to wed Jake Ryan’s Robbo – the former Bachelorette said: “For Dave and I, that will happen for us naturally – but no.”
Sam admitted she is very different to her on-screen role, with Jasmine being “more traditional” and she “a bit more relaxed”, Daily Mail Australia reports.
Last month, Dave mysteriously unfollowed Sam on Instagram and placed his account on private.
He has since re-followed her, but the reason behind his moves remain unclear.
Since shooting to fame as the winning contestant onThe Bachelor in 2014, Sydney native Sam has endured a rocky road to true romance.
In the series finale, The Bachelor Blake Garvey proposed to then 25-year-old Sam on location in South Africa, but just five weeks after their engagement Garvey revealed his true feelings in a meeting with his fiancé and the show’s producers, bluntly declaring: “I want to break up with Sam.”
Starring as The Bachelorette on the first Australian installment of the popular franchise in 2015, the blonde bombshell found love with construction manager Sasha Mielczarek but separated after just 18 months together in December 2016.
The actress has been in a relationship with her longtime friend Dave Bashford for almost two years.
Sam has credited her partner for helping her to cope with anxiety and depression and always being there to “pick up the pieces”.
The couple recently attended a baby shower for The Bachelor’s Anna Heinrich’s sister Andrea.
