Retired footballer David Beckham has been given a six-month ban from driving after he was caught using his phone at the wheel.
On top of his six-month suspended license, Beckham was ordered to pay £750 fine (nearly $1400 AUD) at Bromley Magistrates Court on Thursday.

The father of four was also given six points on his driving license.
Beckham was dobbed in by a member of the public who saw the famous ex-soccer player on his phone while driving his Bentley on Great Portland Street in London, according to HELLO! magazine.
Beckham pleaded guilty to the offence last November.

This isn’t the first time Beckham, 44, has had a run-in with the law over his irresponsible driving.
Last year David was caught driving his Bentley Bentayga at 59mph in a 40mph west London zone, however the speeding charge was thrown out on a technicality.
Maybe someone should refresh David’s memory on basic road rules!
